WHY YOU NEED A FERTILITY NURSE...
I know what you're probably thinking, why work with a fertility nurse when you can see a doctor or fertility specialist?
â
While that makes complete sense, MFN is here to bridge the gap between the two.
â
-
Have you ever felt your appointment with your doctor or specialist felt rushed or you didn't feel heard or listened too?
-
Have you ever felt dismissed and told to come back only once you've been "trying" for 12-months?
-
Have you ever felt there was more to your fertility that is yet to be uncovered?
-
Have you ever felt that your doctor or clinic haven't been giving you enough support or you feel like a number moving through the motions and jumping when they tell you to jump?
â
MFN is an extra resource to add to your healthcare team. Helping to fill those gaps that you've definitely experienced and enabling you to take as much time as you need to help you feel empowered, in control and brightening your path to parenthood.
RESEARCH SUPPORTS EXTRA FERTILITY
CARE
STUDIES HAVE SHOWN:
-
People in earlier phases of TTC, experience the same level of anxiety and depression than those going through fertility treatment
-
Psychological distress has been found to begin before fertility treatment starts and worsens during the course of treatment
-
The levels of anxiety and depression seen in female infertility patients has been shown to be similar to levels of distress in newly diagnosed cancer patients
-
Fertility care that includes both emotional and physical support helps reduce stress and improve wellbeing, treatment effectiveness and adherence and may even improve pregnancy rates....so fertility care matters!
